Chelsea Vs Man City Champions League Final 2021 Squad

Chelsea Secure Second Champions League Triumph at Mount 42

29 May 2021 | European Football

English club Chelsea claimed their second Champions League title with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Manchester City in an all-English final played at the Estádio do Dragão in Porto, Portugal.

Kai Havertz proved to be the match-winner, scoring the only goal of the game in the 42nd minute. His clinical finish secured the Blues their second Champions League trophy, having previously won the competition in 2012.

Under the guidance of Spanish referee Mateu Lahoz, both teams put on a captivating display of attacking football. Manchester City dominated the possession and created numerous chances, but Chelsea's resolute defense and goalkeeper Edouard Mendy stood firm.

Chelsea's triumph marks a significant milestone in the club's history, solidifying their status as one of Europe's elite. For Manchester City, it was a disappointing night, as they fell short in their first appearance in the European Cup final.
