Visible Overhead for Most of North America
According to the latest forecast, auroral borealis activity is currently extreme, and incredible northern lights displays will be visible directly overhead in most of North America tonight and tomorrow night. This is a short-term forecast of the location and intensity of the aurora, and is based on the OVATION model. The best time to see the aurora is usually within an hour or two of midnight, between 10 PM and 2 AM local time. These hours of active aurora expand towards evening.
