WNBA MVP A'ja Wilson is Now #2
The 2023 WNBA season is heating up and ESPN has released its midseason rankings of the top 25 players in the league. The Aces had the most players on the list with four, but reigning MVP A'ja Wilson is now ranked 2nd. The Liberty and Sky each had three players ranked in the top 25, while the Mystics and Storm each had two. The Sparks, Wings, Fever, Lynx and Dream each had one player ranked in the top 25.

Breanna Stewart is ranked number one for the second straight year and remains one of the most dominant players in the league. She is averaging 21.1 points, 10.4 rebounds and 2.8 assists for the Storm, who are currently in first place in the Western Conference.
A'ja Wilson is ranked number two, down one spot from last year. She is averaging 19.5 points, 9.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists for the Aces, who are currently in second place in the Western Conference.
Kahleah Copper is ranked number three, up four spots from last year. She is averaging 17.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists for the Sky, who are currently in first place in the Eastern Conference.
Kelsey Plum is ranked number four, up two spots from last year. She is averaging 17.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.6 assists for the Aces.
Sabrina Ionescu is ranked number five, up one spot from last year. She is averaging 15.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 6.2 assists for the Liberty, who are currently in third place in the Eastern Conference.
The rest of the top 10 includes Jonquel Jones (Connecticut Sun), Candace Parker (Las Vegas Aces), Napheesa Collier (Minnesota Lynx), Skylar Diggins-Smith (Dallas Wings) and Arike Ogunbowale (Dallas Wings).
Seven Former MVPs Ranked
In addition to the five current MVPs ranked in the top 25, there are also seven former MVPs ranked. These include Elena Delle Donne (Washington Mystics), Sylvia Fowles (Minnesota Lynx), Maya Moore (free agent), Nneka Ogwumike (Los Angeles Sparks), Candace Parker (Las Vegas Aces), Breanna Stewart (Seattle Storm) and A'ja Wilson (Las Vegas Aces).
