The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced that North Fish USA Inc of Hallandale FL is recalling 9-ounce packages of Cold Smoked Capelin. The product was found to be over 5 in. in size, which is a violation of FDA regulations.

The recalled product is the 9-ounce package of Cold Smoked Capelin with UPC code No 4811527003360 and best by dates of 07132024 or 01052025 stamped. The product was distributed to retail stores nationwide.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled product should not consume it. They should return it to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.

The FDA is investigating the cause of the recall.
