Avalanche Fans Will Have Plenty of Opportunities to Watch Their Team on National TV, But Not All Games Will Be Available to Everyone
The Colorado Avalanche will have 17 national TV games during the 2022-23 season, but there is a catch. Not all of the games will be available to everyone.
Altitude Sports, the regional sports network that broadcasts Avalanche games, has been in a carriage dispute with Comcast for over a year. As a result, Comcast customers have not been able to watch Avalanche games on Altitude.
The two sides have been unable to reach an agreement, and it is unclear if they will be able to do so before the start of the season. If they do not, Comcast customers will miss out on 17 Avalanche games this season.
Here is a list of the Avalanche's 17 national TV games:
- Oct. 12: at Chicago Blackhawks (ESPN)
- Oct. 15: vs. Vegas Golden Knights (ESPN)
- Oct. 22: at Minnesota Wild (ESPN)
- Nov. 1: vs. Edmonton Oilers (TNT)
- Nov. 5: at Buffalo Sabres (ESPN)
- Nov. 12: vs. Boston Bruins (ESPN)
